The Capital Markets Authority, CMA has admitted Cashlet into its regulatory sandbox program.

Cashlet is an application developed by Sycamore Capital Ltd which offers personal finance to Kenyans. The app offers a much more convenient and simple way for Kenyans to save their money. The most exciting feature about this app is it allows its users to invest. 

"Most industries in Kenya have been transformed by the power of technology and mobile apps. Our mission is to help people invest, manage and grow their money in the simplest way possible," said Kwaku who is one of Cashlet's Co-founders.

Users will be able to invest in unit trust products from the app. The app's beta version is set to be launched in February this year where both Android and iOS users will have access to the app.

The app's launch comes at a time when most Kenyans have had challenging time-saving money and getting platforms that allow them to invest easily. 

Cashlet hopes to change how people invest and manage their finances. The innovation will join other fintech app products which aim to empower Kenyan businesses and impact how they view finances.

The Kenyan tech space continues to grow daily with various apps lending money to their customers in a bid to ease access to fundamental investing services which were not easily available.
