Whatsapp Has Increased its File Sharing Limit

Popular messaging application, Whatsapp has announced that it is set to boost its file-sharing limit from 100 MB to 2 GB. 

This news comes after WABetainfo shared that the messaging application was testing the new limit for its beta users on both iOS and Android platforms.

The move aims to offer more competition to its main competitor application, Telegram which already has the  limit. 

Part of its new features includes the exciting multi-device feature which enables users access Whatsapp on multiple devices without having to stay connected to the phone, the primary device which previously required a constant Internet connection. Users can now use whatsapp web while logged on their smartphones.

Whatsapp prides itself in enabling communication globally across countries, languages to and different time zone. 

The application claims it is able to keep personal conversations private with an end-to-end encryption.
